Westat is currently seeking individuals to work Saturday and Sunday (8:00am - 4:30pm) to support our field interviewers and respondents with research surveys for our Rockville, MD office. A successful candidate must have demonstrated customer support experience in responding to phone calls, email, and voicemail from field staff.
 
Job Responsibilities:

- Answer technical calls, emails and voicemails.
- Solving or troubleshooting problems that relate to the technical support of hardware and data transmissions.
- Answer procedural questions and document issue details into customized tracking systems.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft Office and current operating systems, browsers, and the ability to resolve issues with peripheral devices.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required to apply
- Must have 1-3 years customer service experience
- Professional attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Candidates must be able to speak clearly in English and follow established protocols

Preferred:
- Associates Degree or higher
- Prior experience with remote sessions such as LogMeIn
- Ability to work occasionally from our Rockville, MD, office
