Our client is looking for a process engineer to join their team in Owings Mills. Individuals in this position are responsible for planning, organizing, and performing detailed process design with capability to manage multidiscipline engineering activities. This position does not require administrative direction from the division manager. Responsibilities: - Capable for the process design of multiple complex projects and managing the design efforts of multidiscipline projects. - Prepare, critique and approve engineering studies, analysis of systems, preliminary and detailed engineering designs. - Develop and approve engineering specifications and project cost estimates. Direct and review work of project design team, check progress of work and alert managers to change of scope and additional services. - Coordinate all aspects of project document completion. - Direct CAD designers for the preparation of construction drawings. - Possess ability to interpret applicable codes. - Independently work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to codes is required.
