Digital Marketing Specialist

Position Summary:

Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Internet Strategy and Web Services team serve as a central strategic leader in the exploration, development, execution, and analysis of a digital strategy that connects the people of the world to the people of the organization. Serving all aspects of the three-part mission of research, education and patient care, the team leads the creation and execution of a comprehensive online strategy including content creation and distribution, user-centered design and development, Internet marketing and social engagement, and data-driven performance analysis.

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports and coordinates the day-to-day execution of internet marketing programs and campaigns, including display, video, social media, and email marketing. The Digital Marketing Specialist collaborates with colleagues to

• Develop and curate digital assets and provides copywriting for digital campaigns. 
• Supports tagging, tracking, and reporting efforts for campaigns and communications. 
• Works closely with others on the Internet Marketing team to implement effective campaigns and communications. 
• Perform additional duties as directed. 

*This is a Johns Hopkins Health System position that will primarily support the operations at Suburban and Sibley hospitals and will be located in the DC region 

 Education:

Requires a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Marketing or Communications. Equivalent experience and training, in digital communications, digital marketing or social media, beyond the work experience requirement may be substituted on a 2:1 basis.

Work Experience:

A minimum of 2- years of related experience is required. Some internal client or agency experience is preferred.

 Shift:

Full Time, (40 hours)

8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Evening and weekend work is required to monitor social media on a rotational basis.
