Summary

The Project Manager directs and coordinates activities of projects in accordance with identified company goals to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations, and maximize profits by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project planning, scheduling, (monitoring) control, and reporting activities for a specific project(s).
  • Analyze, direct, and report project economics, including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk.
  • Ensure adherence to legally binding requirements and customer needs.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities - Yes
  • Processes internal employee recruiting actions
  • Interviews prospective employees
  • Plans, assigns, and directs employee work
  • Appraises employee performance
  • Addresses employee complaints resolving problems IAW company policies
  • Approves time cards
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Background check required and the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance once hired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with corporate and customer management to determine project scope, planning and budgetary needs, requirements forecasting, and reporting requirements for large and/or multiple projects.
  • Ability to lead a project or program in crisis and develop and implement recovery plans.
  • Ability to coordinate the development of and execution of project plans.
  • Ability to analyze cost schedule and technical components to assess progress and develop necessary plan alternatives.
  • Ability to identify potential growth opportunities.
  • Ability to interpret Costpoint financial data.
  • Have an understanding and be knowledgeable of SharePoint file structure.
  • Ability to apply quality control measures; familiarity with ISO 9001:2015.
  • Ability to understand project budget planning, coordination, controls, and reporting.
