Position Description: XLA is looking for a Accounting Supervisor/Team Lead to support a federal agency located in Washington, DC.The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, and financial statement experience in the federal space. The Accounting Supervisor/Team Lead will provide oversight to staff activities to help ensure the completion of all tasks are on time. Candidate must have a demonstrated knowledge of federal accounting, accounts receivables, federal USSGL, budget execution and demonstrate a working knowledge of GTAS, IPAC and CARS. Shall have experience analyzing data from financial systems. Must demonstrate ability to review transactions or documents to assure compliance with rules and regulations. Ability to work with and out of multiple systems simultaneously. Must be able to research and respond to inquiries.
