The Role: Andersen is seeking qualified international tax specialists at the Entry-level, Experienced Associate and Senior Associate levels to join our growing corporate international tax practice. The role offers unique opportunities to work with highly experienced partners on international tax projects to add value for clients. Andersen is growing rapidly both within the United States and globally. Tremendous opportunities exist for advancement in the practice as we continue to grow.The role will include assisting clients and working on consulting, planning, and reporting projects primarily for multinational businesses. Services the international tax team offers include preparation of complex annual returns for high net worth clients including foreign corporation reporting (Forms 5471 and 8621), foreign financial asset reporting (FBAR/Form 8938), foreign earned income exclusion (Form 2555), and foreign tax credits (Form 1116). Skills required to be successful will include: some existing knowledge and experience with respect to US federal international tax concepts; ability to successfully manage multiple projects; ability to accurately research and analyze unfamiliar concepts; ability to clearly communicate complex tax concepts; and commitment to working as part of a team to deliver best in class services to our clients. The Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM;- A minimum GPA of 3.0;- Relevant work experience with an accounting firm;- Strong multitasking and organizational skills;- Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;- Strong interpersonal skills;- Proficient use of technology including MS Excel; and- Strong attention to detail.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Andersen Tax welcomes and encourages workforce diversity.
