Overview: BRMi Technology is seeking a UX Designer to support a large client in the Northern Virginia area. The selected candidate willsupport and develop user-centered design solutions and drive cohesive product interactions across multiple platformsaimed at solutions that are friendly and easy that hide the true complexity of technology from a user. In addition, will recommend design solutions that are aimed at targeting member needs and for solving business unit problems.Clickhereto learn about BRMi's culture.Clickhere to see BRMis Glassdoor reviews Responsibilities: Develop and recommend comprehensive visual design solutions based off prototypes and wire frames for moderately complex projects Conceive visual design solutions through composition, typography, and interaction models while keeping deliverables engaging and on-brand.Independently solve design problems while collaborating with UX designers, content owners, researchers, strategists, developers, project managers, and stakeholders in an agile scrum environment Leverage in-house atomic design system and supplemental resource libraries to aid in the development of new and existing products.Act as subject matter expert for user insights and design best practicesOther Duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, User-Centered Design/Human-Computer Interaction, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Advanced Knowledge of UX design principles and ability to apply themSignificant experience in design fundamentals, such as color theory, typography and compositionSignificant experience in interaction design, visual design, and industry standardsSignificant experience in user centered design processes and best practices Advanced knowledge of modern development standards, techniques and methodologies (eg, HTML, XHTML, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, etc.) Working knowledge of best practices for web and mobile-based content, tools, and forms Ability to interpret requirements into executable design solutions Strong cross-group collaboration and persuasion skillsAbility to respond quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environmentAdvanced verbal and written communication skills Significant experience performing analysis of business processes and functions Advanced sill in project management to include establishing and leading project teams; managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementation Desired: Masters degree in Graphic Design, User-Centered Design/Human-Computer Interaction, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Human Factors Institute Certified Analyst Knowledge of web, mobile and application design**BRMi will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
