Our business is about people who need a place to call home and the people of Michaels who make it all happen.Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the marketing strategies, marketing communications, and resident relations for the project.This position will be eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus upon successful completion of the 90 day probationary period. Responsibilities: 1. Create and implement marketing programs, initiatives, and strategies that support the ongoing occupancy and resident retention goals of the project.2. Will be responsible for managing the marketing budget and assisting in the development of the annual budget.3. Reputation management for the local project. Monitor online reviews, communications and ratings. Collaborate with appropriate staff to craft and post responses as appropriate.4. Review traffic and sources to determine patterns and trends for all properties. Analyze the quality of marketing tactics and effectiveness, changing strategy and methods as needed.5. Manage and monitor advertising campaigns, signage and leasing specials. Analyze effectiveness and financial impacts of current and potential marketing programs.6. Coordinate the appearance of the projects print and electronic materials such as e-marketing, website, social media, advertising collateral, monthly newsletter, resident correspondence, event flyers, etc.7. Manage and maintain third party relationships with key vendors covering marketing and advertising functions and oversee prospect communications programs.8. Responsible for the achievement of marketing and resident relations goals and financial objectives9. Coordinate and plan monthly marketing events for current residents. Evaluate effectiveness of events and development of new plans to meet the desires of the projects resident base.10. Coordinate with village management staff to plan events and marketing programs. Create a cohesive team atmosphere enlisting the support of site staff to engage in resident relations programs.11. Assists with special projects as requested, such as event planning, employee recognition and sponsorship programs. Qualifications: Required Experience: Minimum of three to five years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Real Estate or a related discipline.Required Education/Training: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Marketing, Communications, Real Estate or a related discipline.Required Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills. Experience developing and managing budgets. Demonstrated successful experience in communication and writing and editing skills utilized for functions including press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media. Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials, publications, website etc. Computer literacy in word processing, data base management and page layout. Commitment to working with shared diverse teams. Strong oral and written communications skills. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.Working Conditions: Working conditions will primarily be in an office setting. Site visits and external office visits may be necessary several times per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. On occasion, outdoor activities and physical labor may be required in conjunction with execution of community events. This position may be exposed to high stress situations. Some travel may be required, which may include the occasional overnight stay.
