As the leader of the Washington, DC Office (DC) Recruiting team, you will be responsible for the strategic design, development, management, and execution of recruiting programs for all levels of Consultant roles in the DC Office. This includes the full lifecycle of Undergraduate, MBA, Advanced Degree and Industry recruits and requires collaboration across the Recruiting leadership team in DC and Bains global and regional Recruiting teams. Responsibilities & Duties: WHAT YOULL DODevelop annual recruiting strategy and initiatives for local office (eg, share of interns vs. full-time hires, emphasis on brand-building, focus on diversity recruiting, etc.), working closely with the Recruiting Partner in recommending changes to tactics; year-to-year strategic approach for Recruiting functionManage daily operations of the Recruiting Department reflecting the highest levels of serviceSupervise, coach, review, and mentor DC Recruiting team members identifying developmental needs; encourage team to reach new levels of skills and knowledge; assign responsibilities and integrate new members into the team when necessaryDevelop and manage office Recruiting budget; conduct special budget projects as neededManage the marketing/on-campus strategy and operations; oversee execution of campus representatives, formal and informal presentations, receptions, dinners, and other eventsManage recruiting, interviewing, and selection process; determine interview schedules, select interviewers, run debrief meetings, determine next step decisions, communicate decisions to school teams, and manage all communication to candidates; coordinate offer processConduct experience interviews with candidates in order to develop relationships with candidates and calibrate talent across schoolsManage planning and execution of all Offeree Weekends including being present for all events throughout the weekends and ensuring team members work in tandem with budgets and schedulesManage planning for Summer Associate and Associate Consultant Intern Programs including full program agenda, all event logistics (including negotiation of business terms with hotels/restaurants/entertainment), attend all events, schedule speakers/dinner hosts, and coordinate professional development activities and communications; coordinate timing of performance evaluations and delivery of final offersEvaluate success of recruiting season; prepare and analyze statistics on overall office recruiting success, results by school, sources, etc. to provide routine updates to senior leadership and input to future recruiting programs and strategyDuring peak recruiting seasons, must be flexible and willing to travel to campuses overnight regularlyManage final presentation process and offer discussions; develop closing strategies; coordinate and manage closing teamsAct as face of management team for events and programsManage business school offer process and relationshipsWork with the Recruiting team and leadership to develop and implement the experienced hire strategy for the DC Office. This includes:Advising on new approaches and market best practicesDeveloping a strong pipeline of experienced hire candidates at the Associate Consultant and Consultant level, via recruiting tools such as LinkedIn and hosting events Promote Bain DC as an employer of choice to the experienced hire marketLeverage internal talent sources to drive employee referrals and alumni engagementWork with the global teams to engage affinity group partnerships for the DC OfficeWork closely with the local Consultant Recruiter and global Industry Recruiting team to ensure seamless co-ordination and cohesive programming for experienced hiresDevelop and track experienced hire budgetOther related duties as requested, or responsibilities dictate Qualifications: ABOUT YOUBachelors Degree is required; Masters Degree preferredA minimum of five years of recruiting and talent acquisition experience for a professional services firm is requiredAbility to handle personal and confidential information appropriatelyAdvanced organizational skills must be meticulous on details without losing sight of broader needs/activities; ability to monitor and manage multiple inputs and multiple parties simultaneously with extreme precisionExperience in event planning and budgeting desiredAbility to represent Bain to prospective candidates and interact with senior Bain managementPrior experience managing a small team is preferredStrong stakeholder and relationship managementResults oriented with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detailCreative flair and the ability to provide innovative and pragmatic solutionsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as an integral member of teamsLogical problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity; highly adaptable with ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust be able to work some evenings and weekends as needed; some travel
