Territory Account Manager - Milan
Job summary: Sell Red Hat's enterprise offerings, solutions, and services to assigned Italian customers. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Territory Account Manager to join us in Milan, Italy. In this role, you will own a list of customers from several industry and offering market verticals to manage promoting new opportunities and projects selling Red Hat's full stack of open source solutions, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat Cloud Suite, Red Hat Application Services, Red Hat Storage, and Red Hats management, automation, consulting, and training solutions. As a Territory Account Manager, you will work with internal and external partners to improve business and create solutions that serve the interests of Red Hat's customers. Primary job responsibilities: Educate prospective customers on the unique value proposition that Red Hat and open source bring to an IT organizationIdentify, qualify, and close opportunities via on-site customer meetings, using phone, email, and internal systemsBuild relationships within important accounts on siteAnswer sales queries and process leads in accordance with Red Hat's service-level agreements (SLAs)Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas, grow and renew existing customer relationships, and acquire new businessManage forecasts, close deals, record sales activity, and track customer data using customer relationship management (CRM) toolsSend proposals and quotes of specific solutions to gain new customers; upsell and cross-sell into existing accountsKeep an up-to-date knowledge of the industry and of Red Hat's competitive position within itEstablish outstanding working relationships with partners and customers Required skills: Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software field sales role with 5+ years of experience and a record of achieving or exceeding sales targetsUnderstanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closingMotivated and result-oriented with a positive outlook and clear focus on delivering high-quality service to our customersAbility to build long-term relationships with customers and partners through trust and credibilityFluent language skills in English and ItalianExcellent time management and organizational skills5+ years of experience working in a matrixed, multinational IT organization; 3+ years of field sales experience About Red Hat: Red Hat is the worlds leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver reliable and high-performing Linux, hybrid cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
