This position is located in the National Credit Union Administration, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This position serves as a Management Analyst.

Responsibilities

As a Management Analyst, you will:
* Assist with program executive review, analysis and appraisal of the IT capital and operations budget.
* Develop format and content to provide managers with various reports and data relative to the status of funds and of obligations; ensures financial integrity; timeliness, the accuracy of budget execution and financial reports.
* Generate weekly Contract Status Reports for each OCIO Cost Center Divisions.
* Work with Division Directors to establish IT asset inventory tracking and periodic refresh (based on funding availability) and ensure proper refresh, amortization and disposition of IT assets.
* Collaborate with Chief Procurement Officer and Division Directors to create purchase orders based on office needs in accordance with NCUA acquisition policy manual.
* Complete activities related to purchase orders and invoices. Track and report on purchase order status.
* Work on projects and initiatives that are submitted or presented directly to the Deputy Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Officer.
* Input procurement-related documents with budget and accounting information into the Agency's acquisition and financial systems.

Qualifications

You must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service in order to qualify for this position.
To qualify at the CU-11 level, you must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-09 level in federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors).
Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting with the analysis and effectiveness of management operations to include the following areas: budget and acquisitions.
OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related

SALARY: Pay will be set within the advertised pay range to align with the selectee's skills and experience and the requirements of the position.

Pay will be set using NCUA's compensation policy. The salary range shown is NCUA's Local Pay Rate (LPR) which includes the locality rate for the Alexandria, Virginia geographical area. Please click here to review all salary ranges based on locality.

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
