Gallagher Services provides care for the adults with intellectual and development disabilities, who reside in one of our programs throughout Baltimore County, Baltimore City Harford County and, Anne Arundel County. We are currently looking for a DSP Residential-Direct Support Professional. The hours for this position are the following: EVERY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 11a-7p Gallagher services is seeking a DSP- Residential Direct Support Professional who is devoted, dependable, compassionate and patient, who have the desire to work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a Residential setting.The DSP- Residential Direct Support Professional will provide daily care to adults with intellectual and development disabilities. Our employees assist the individuals in accomplishing the following; independent living skills, planning activities in the home and community, and providing appropriate physical and emotional care to individuals to promote growth and development. This position will require the following: High School Diploma A Valid Maryland Driver's License with a driving record showing no more than 3 points Medication Certification by an approved DDA course must be obtained within three months of hire One year experience in ID/DD or related field preferred Join Catholic Charities of Baltimore where you will be an important member of a trauma-informed care organization that promotes a culture of safety, empowerment, healing and self-care, and that believes that every person has infinite worth and promise.
