Overview: PURPOSE: The primary function of theWireless Retail Market Managers will be to act as an extension of the brand and sales team. You will personify the brands mission statement/motto, possess key brand personality traits and excitement that will resonate with Retail Sales Associates. Wireless Retail Market Managers are passionate and excited about technology and how it benefits consumers. You are a great communicator who can explain how specs and technology translate to simple consumer benefitsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Build brand loyalty and credibility with retail sales associates as the Brand ChampionBrand advocacy to increase retail sales associates rate of recommendationEngage retail sales associates and create excitementConduct in-store retail associate training, associate and consumer demonstrations, and attend eventsProvide high-level product sales training on features, competitive advantages, and functionsReport intelligence in regards to the program and marketing environment strategically for each tactic As voice and ears, excellent communication and immediate escalation is a mustTravel within the market and approved out-of-scope assignments as neededMerchandising services to deliver POS, collateral, and products to carrier locations along with compliance verification and competitive detailsMystery shop to obtain retail/carrier associate and manage phone recommendations, product knowledge assessment, comments, and concerns as well as consumer relations and in-store observations of the brand and the competitionEstablish and build retailer relationships on behalf of the clientEngage customers during high traffic times at select demo day events to drive sales of brand productsExpectations not limited toFacilitate informal, formal, and large scale training to retail associates and managersAttend and assist with out-of-market training, events, etcGather in-market and out-of-market intelligence relating to the assigned and competitive brandsEnsure merchandising compliance and increased presence in-storeMonitor POP / POS to ensure it is current and placed according to the planogramKey Metrics:Increase sales associate knowledge and the recommendation rate of brand productsIncrease product sales of selected productsIncrease and facilitate in-store sales in key market locationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:College degree in communications, marketing, or training & development preferredMinimum of 1-3 years of Retail, Marketing, or Agency experience ~ field representative experience helpful, but not mandatoryMinimum of 1-3 years of experience in the area of training and communicationsPrevious wireless backgroundSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:Strong presentation and communication skillsMust be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint applicationsAbility to travel within the assigned territoryPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
