The RIS Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) is the central focus for concept development, trade studies, systems architecture development, and systems integration and test activities for customized engineering services and products. We develop solutions to solve customer needs as well as plan future capabilities and technology roadmaps. As a Senior DevOps systems engineer on our team, you'll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll lead efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources. You'll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), software integration, and cloud architecture while developing software that will improve national security and support the SIGINT community. You will mentor junior team members and lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions.This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $15K for a candidate with a current TS/SCI with that can be verified and hired at RIS. Requirements:Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering or information technology with a track record of results3+ years of experience in working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies5+ years of experience with DevOps pipeline tools and technologies, including Docker, Chef, Jenkins, Ansible, and KubernetesExperience with command line in Linux or UNIXEnthusiastic & energetic performer able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, & high visibility environmentSelf-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal oversightCurrent active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraphAbility to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 monthsAWS Associate Certification Preferred Skills: Experience with systems administration in Windows and Linux systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBA or BS technical degree (eg computer science)Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM Degree Program with 8+ years' of relevant experience - OR Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM Degree Program with 6+ years' of relevant experience #space2021179482Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
