*Description:* The Employee Relations Advisor I provides corporate and branch-level HR support to the Employee Relations Manager in the following areas: employee relations, wage & hour, policies and procedures, performance management and other areas as directed. The Employee Relations Advisor 1 must maintain a comprehensive understanding of the HR handbook, policies and employee relations concepts in their work and the highest level of personal and professional conduct. The Employee Relations Advisor I will work closely with the Employee Relations Intake Representatives/HR Coordinators may take direction from Senior Employee Relations Advisor and will report directly to the Employee Relations Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Receives and responds to inbound employee relations inquiries. May assist in monitoring the Employee Relations Hotline * Utilizes software to accurately track and record employee relations issues * Provides guidance, consultation, and assistance to management and employees on employee relations matters to include employee corrective actions and termination decisions * Responds to requests for information on HR policy interpretation from internal and external employees to include: conducting internal investigations for various employee grievances/complaints including sexual harassment allegations, discrimination and civil rights complaints * Adheres to the Employee Relations service standards * Assists the company's Compliance department in the investigation of compliance-related concerns *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* Must have 2-3 years of employee relations experience for this role. Must be comfortable understanding HR regulations and have previously worked with employee relations before at a previous role. Bachelor's Degree is a plus but not required.
