The faculty appointment will begin in August 2021. This is a full-time (9-month) faculty position, with the option of teaching in summer semesters.

Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience with online teaching and/or mentoring graduate students in healthcare management; * Specialty certification(s) in a practice area related to healthcare management; * Highly qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of AUPHA and CAHME accreditation for healthcare management academic programs; * Because the HAP department's faculty members include scholars from multiple academic and professional disciplines, we are especially interested in applicants with a background and commitment to interdisciplinary, collaborative research.

If so, how did you help them identify and overcome barriers to success? Think about your experience with research mentorship, teaching or tutoring, academic advising, and community mentorship. (No more than 2 paragraphs.)

For general questions about the position, please contact the search committee chair, Mr. John Shiver (jshiver@gmu.edu).
