Adventist HealthCare seeks a Director of Supply Chain Operations who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As the Director of Supply Chain Operations , you will:

Be responsible for the effective and efficient administration, management, and operation of the organization's inventory storage, distribution of materials, supplies, and equipment. Oversees the materials management distribution system and process flow. Develops, educates, and implements all procedures related to the organizational use of the materials management system. Maintains the Materials Management Information System (MMIS) as it related to inventory management and coordinates with purchasing on storeroom replenishment issues. Manages all operational changes and conversions. Coordinates Annual Inventory across AHC.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

•Manages the effective and efficient operation of the materials management system.
•Ability to work independently and make critical decisions based off reports and data that come
from the automated inventory management systems that will lead to superior outcomes.
•Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of inventory.
•Reviews daily reports and statistical data for correctness and quality assurance, identifying issues
and corrective action for process improvements.
•Responsible for determine supply and equipment needs across the organizational and ensuring
that operational needs are met.
•Investigates and solves complex and unique problems as they occur to maintain the proper
functionality of processes as specified in department business practices, as well as problems that
relate to inventory management.
•Maintains an ongoing knowledge associated with operational and technical aspects of the
purchasing and supply system.
•Understand and practices the mission, vision and values of organization.
•Supervises all activities of the organizations materials management departments.
•Provides strategic and operational guidance for supply chain.
•Attends many hospital meetings and represents the department on hospital committees

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience

•Bachelor's Degree and/or 10+ years' experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or similar
function in a complex, multi-site enterprise.
•5 -10 years of supply chain, and healthcare administration.
•5 years of managerial and/or supervisory experience in materials management.
