This is a unique position for a strong User Interface (UI) Developer to build new mission-critical application on a high-performing development team. Work will be completed in an iterative fashion using scrum techniques with inputs from the Project Manager, IT Division Leadership, Technical Director, and Subject Matter Experts and other business stakeholders.. Must have a TS/SCI Clearance with Favorable Polygraph. This position is located in the Herndon area. Required Skills: Ability to lead and direct design thinking for applications Strong working knowledge of Angular 8+, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Google Material Working experience with Git, GitHub or GitLab, code reviews Experience with Jenkins Experience with Rest APIs Working experience with AWS technologies (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS) Experience with application frameworks (Spring Boot, NodeJS-NestJS) Expert knowledge of UI design principles and techniques Ability to work well with others as well as independently (MUST leave ego at the door) Ability to work well in a constantly evolving work environment Strong presentation skills Desired Skills: Experience with UI testing frameworks Experience with Docker/Docker Compose Experience with JavaScript charting libraries such as ChartJS, D3 Experience with PDF JavaScript libraries such as pdf.js Experience building js libraries/NPM modules Experience with multi-environment deployments Experience in an Agile environment Education/Experience: Bachelor's STEM degree plus 10 years job related experience.
