DescriptionJob Description: The Defense Group of Leidos is seeking a Information Assurance Engineer to support a Commercial Solution for Classified (CSfC) implementation, and the environment of a trusted CSfC networked with distributed capability, and the operations and management of a multi-domain architecture. A' This position will work closely with a solutions architect lead, Cyber lead and senior network engineering staff to implement, configure, deploy and operate the resources needed to deploy a large scale distributed remote access CSfC environment. Tasks will be defined based on the skillset of the candidate and are expected to shift frequently as the staff adjusts to the implementation and operational tempo and specific features being and integrated into the system.The position requires a fair amount of independence and flexibility and the ability to work well within the context of a larger team. A' The position holds potential for advancement as the team expands over the life of this program and the potential follow-on to an expanded deployment & contract growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience with managing cyber security risk management framework, and should either be familiar with or a proven ability to rapidly learn the aspects of the Department of Defense (DoD) cyber security features to succeed. A' This candidate is expected to apply existing procedures and protocols, assess effectiveness and suggest changes as needed, evaluate the effectiveness of actions taken, and work in collaboration with others to manage a large and complex system being operated in a deployed distributed virtual environment. Candidates will support Cyber intrusion detection and testing, participate extensively in cyber certification events, and provide hands-on operation of systems distributed in both local instances, across multiple security domains.Primary Responsibilities:Creation of system security documentationUse of RMF security framework for accreditation of systemEducation of all users on securityPerforming vulnerability scans and reporting of resultsUpdating system controls in EMASS for accreditation, to include all accompanying artifactsTest and evaluate all products to meet cybersecurity standardsBasic Qualifications:Active DOD Secret clearance.Bachelor's Degree in IT, Network Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the field with appropriate credentials, additional years of related experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.Active Security+ with Continuous Education (or higher cert eg CISSP).Hands on experience with security tools (HBSS, ACAS, Tanium, STIGs, SCAP, etc.).Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Multiple Cybersecurity certifications.Experience with RMF ATO packages (including use of EMASS).Experience with network infrastructure.External Referral Bonus: EligibleExternal Referral Bonus $: $3000Potential for Telework: Yes, 25%Clearance Level Required: SecretTravel: Yes, 10% of the timeScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Shift: DayRequisition Category: ProfessionalJob Family: Information AssurancePay Range:
