Complete Building Services is hiring a Journeyman level Plumber for a stationary role supporting a million+ square foot facility in Washington DC. The plumber/pipefitter shall have the ability to: Install, assemble, trouble shoot, modify, repair, and maintain high temperature water and low-pressure piping systems. Install, assemble, trouble shoot, modify, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures of steam heating, water, and sanitary and storm drainage systems in accordance with specifications and plumbing codes. Install, assemble, trouble shoot, modify, repair, and maintain commodes, hot water tanks, lavatories, showers, water heaters, condensate pumps, sewer pumps, sump pumps, water pumps, dishwashers, garbage disposal units, and water softeners. Repairs steam traps, relief and control valves. Cuts, threads, and connects pipes by means of flanges, sweating, and union joints. Fits pipe sections by bolting, brazing, fusing, gluing, screwing, soldering, and welding as appropriate. The plumber/pipefitter shall independently work from building plans, blueprints, layout sketches, manufacturers' literature and specifications for sizing, estimating, installing, and repairing new or existing piping systems. You Should Have The Plumber shall possess the following minimum qualifications: Must possess a current and valid Journey-Level Plumber/Pipefitter, license; Must have not less than three (3) years of experience obtained within the past five (5) years as a licensed journeymen level plumber/pipefitter in a single building of comparable size, type, and complexity; Shall have completed vocational and technical training in plumbing/pipefitting maintenance and service work; Must possess an ability to identify common causes of plumbing failures; Must possess an ability to coordinate effective PM scheduling; Must possess an ability to establish routine testing procedures; Must possess an ability to apply PM strategies and techniques such as RCM, RMP, and Root cause failure analysis; Must possess an ability to meet project deadlines on-time; Must possess an ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work as required; A demonstrated working knowledge of plumbing systems and an ability to understand and utilize plumbing drawings is required; PandoLogic.
