Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to coordinate, supervise and direct all aspects of the hotel's Kitchen/Restaurantproduction - restaurant, room service, kitchen, and beverage / lounge while maintaining profitable operations and high quality products and service levels. Responsibilities: In this role, you will be expected to do the following:Work the line along side culinary teamLead and supervise the F department; hire, train, develop, assess and empower staff to achieve thedepartment's goals.Communicate both verbally and in writing, with employees, guests and management in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.Manage the finances of the F operations including budget, forecast, F revenues, expenses, costs, payroll and quarterly actions plans.Ensure that the F operation is in compliance with company, brand, federal, state, and local laws/regulations including OSHA, Wage and Hour (tip reporting), Health, Sanitation, and Alcohol Beverage Control.Coordinate and monitor loss prevention, corporate promotions, menus and par levelsCheck food purchases for proper ordering, quality and price structure.Assist catering sales on all special menus and price structures.Participate in MOD coverage as required.
