Our client, a regional leader in Fire Protection Construction is hiring for a construction project manager. *Description:* The Project Manager will provide direct support to the VP of construction, Estimators and other field support personnel. Will eventually be responsible for project management start to finish. Will handle review, submit, and track submittals between direct subcontractor, and general contractor to ensure products and materials are delivered to the project site within the confines of the Project Schedule. Assist subcontractors and Quality Control Staff to interpret the contract drawings and specifications.. Gather all Closeout documents per contract specifications. Prepare and submit the DD 1354 for Government to transfer and accept real property. Participate in Owner Progress Meetings. Create, record and keep meeting minutes. *Skills:* Project management, submittals, rfi, assistant project manager, Construction Management, Project Coordination, Construction, project manager construction *Top Skills Details:* Project management,submittals,rfi *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* The ideal candidate should posses a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant construction project management or assistant project management experience from a commercial GC or related specialty contractor such as Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical. Ability to read an interpret construction drawings, prints and specs. Understanding of project documentation to include RFIs, Submittals, Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time. 4 year degree in technical field would be strongly preferred, but is not required. This is a role that will require the candidate to develop into a Project Manager, so ability and desire to learn and grow in the role is crucial to the candidates success.
