*Aston Carter's client is looking for a Tax Associate in Hunt Valley, MD.* *Description:* * Prepare/planning for Large corporate tax returns, including multi-state * Prepare Estate Tax returns * Prepare Trust Tax returns * Prepare Gift Tax returns * Prepare/Review Individual tax returns * Key contact person in tax dept. for your clients' * Research tax law when necessary * Year-end tax planning * Quarterly estimate planning for your clients' * Respond to IRS notices received from clients * Supervise work of tax staff accountant * Provide support for IRS auditors *Skills & Qualifications:* * 4-year degree in Accounting; CPA preferred. * Five years' tax experience working in a public accounting firm * High level of knowledge and experience with ProSystems. * Knowledge of accounting regulatory requirements. * Excellent organization, time management and communication skills. * Some supervisory and/or workpaper review responsibilities preferred.
