Immaculate Conception School, a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence located in the heart of Towson, is looking for a full time instructional assistant. This individual will work closely with the lead teacher to provide a quality, nurturing and safe environment for students. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for daily routines and duties in the classroom as assigned by the supervising teacher.Assist other teachers or other instructional assistants, as needed.Maintain open communication with supervising teacher.Observe confidentiality regarding student records and any information that may come to assistant in area of work.Follow through with all duties as assigned by supervising teacher.Attend professional development events, faculty meetings, grade level and curriculum meetings and other school wide functions as required, or requested by principal. Qualifications:High School degree, 90 hour certification preferredFirst aid and CPR training helpfulPrevious successful experience working with childrenMust be comfortable with technology
