Joining PenFed is more than being an employee; its about being a part of the PenFed family.PenFed is hiring a Remote Supervisor, BSA/AML for our Alexandria, Virigina location.The primary purpose of this job is to supervise employees engaged in the activities related to theCustomer Identification Program (CIP), Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)/High Risk Due Diligence, OFAC compliance, and PenFeds BSA Program controls. This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties and the position will perform other duties as assigned.Provide day-to-day oversight of activities related to CIP, KYC, CDD, EDD /High Risk Due Diligence, OFAC and monitoring BSA/AML systems for both consumer and business accounts.Provide effective oversight and mentorship of BSA analysts and specialists.Manage day-to-day activities by planning, assigning and directing work performed by BSA analysts and specialists. Ensures staff complete assigned investigations in a timely manner and meet all policy requirements.Monitor BSA/AML system performance and recommend processes to support, streamline and improve department activities.Interact with the BSA Team, and all other PenFed departments in the coordination and implementation of BSA/AML policies and procedures, changes and enhancements, and resolution of issues related to PenFeds BSA/AML Program.Work with the BSA/AML Compliance Officer and BSA senior management to coordinate, develop and deliver BSA/AML training.Direct assigned staff in the regular monitoring of PenFeds BSA program to ensure it is operating as intended and is adequately controlling the credit unions BSA/AML risk.Assist BSA/AML management team with internal audits and external examinations.Represent the BSA/AML team on cross-department/division projects and task groups, and complete special projects as needed and directed by PenFeds BSA senior management.Research and provide responses to BSA/AML questions from employees, coordinating with business unit managers and other subject matter experts as needed.Maintains and continually updates knowledge of current BSA requirements, including, but not limited to NCUA and FinCEN regulations. *This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity.* Qualifications: Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.Bachelors Degree in criminal justice, business or a related field is required, or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills.Minimum of five (5) years of BSA/AML experience, Fraud, and/or sufficient combination of compliance, audit or risk is required.Supervisory experience is preferred.Require annual, specialized training related to BSA/AML issues and developments.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position will direclty supervise employeesLicenses and CertificationsCFE, CAMS or an approved equivalent certification is preferred.
