Patriot Learning Pod, Room Proctor

George Mason University's Patriot Learning Pod (PLP) is hiring Room Proctors for our program. A facility where the children of faculty and staff can log into their elementary school's learning management system while their parents are on campus, the PLP is a critical element of Mason's 50 percent return to campus effort. We are looking for candidates passionate about creating a safe environment for children completing virtual coursework while their parents are on campus.

Responsibilities: * Ensure a safe environment is maintained, one allowing children to access their school's learning management system to complete coursework; * Assist with check-in and departure of children, and keeping accurate records; * Help children access Mason's wireless network and assist with any basic login needs; * Maintain and enforces all COVID precautions daily; * Ensure that PLP policies and procedures are followed; * Other duties, as assigned.

Required Qualification: * A minimum of 1 year experience working with elementary school children; * A High School diploma or equivalent; * Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications: Some coursework, in early childhood education or child development preferred.
