Senior Manager, Backbone Procurement Responsible for all procurement activities needed to meet company's backbone network requirements covering IP, transmission, infrastructure & colocation. Seek & review proposals from suppliers. Negotiate procurement terms. Manage relationship w/ multiple suppliers. Monitor performance of purchased inventory, services & leased equipment. Identify & deliver cost improvement & renegotiate MSA w/ suppliers. Initiate enforcement of any SLA related penalties w/ suppliers. Req. BS in ME or foreign degree equiv., network engr, or related field. 6 yrs of exp as Procurement Mgr. 3 yrs of exp in IP & transmission network procurement. Six Sigma cert. Exp working w/ complex procurement projects. Excellent communication, organizational & problem solving skills.
