Sr. Systems Engineer IIs

Sr. Systems Engineer IIs for Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) to work at our Chevy Chase, MD loc. May telecommute up to one day a week (or more as needed). Pos will deploy, support, & config all aspects rel to CISCO VoIP admin + infrastructure. Triage issues & perf root cause analysis, make recs for resolution of VoIP system issues & communicate findings. Partner w/Outside service orgs in support of the VoIP enviro. Manage VoIP devices in accordance w/best practices. Dev perf analysis metrics & oversee capacity planning for VoIP system expansion. Provide training & mentor technical staff. Ensure compliance w/existing policies pertaining to Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI & other regulatory orgs. Dev process for implem & operational support of systems, 24x7 production support & technical support to team & customers. May require background checks and drug screening. Occasional weekend support. Little domestic travel may be involved. Must have Must have Bachelors in Comp Sci, Eng'g, IT or rel and 5 yrs rel Cisco based VoIP solutions exp.
