Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Executive, you will:
  • Direct or perform analytical and evaluative work that requires a comprehensive knowledge of the operations, management, and fiscal activities of healthcare facilities; the operations and practices of HUD organizations; pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions; and related basic economic, accounting, and legal principles.
  • Serve as a Departmental expert in the analysis of hospitals and/or residential care facilities, particularly as pertains to Section 232 and/or 242 mortgage insurance program policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Be responsible for identifying and assisting severely troubled healthcare facilities in financial distress, developing action plans for improving their financial condition, and authoritatively presenting such plans to the boards and executive management of the facilities.
  • Develop and recommend changes in policies and procedures to better control FHAs risks, reengineer business processes, or improve customer service.

  • Qualifications

    You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

    Specialized Experience: For the GS-14,specialized experience is one year of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent, that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must include:

    -Analyzing financial statements and financial performance of nursing homes and assisted living facilities; AND
    -Evaluating risk related to quality of care or physical condition of nursing homes and assisted living facilities; AND
    -Evaluating regulations and policies to ensure correct implementation.

    Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
