The Treasury Analyst provides global treasury business process support and stewardship of IJMs financial assets including cash, debt, risk, and investment management. The Treasury Analyst will provide support for order-to-collect and order-to-pay cash processes, technology enhancements, administration support for bank account management and fee structures, intercompany funding processes, corporate card program and various risk reporting.This position is based at IJM Headquarters in the Washington, DC area and reports to Global Officer, Treasury.ResponsibilitiesManagementMaintain administration over all banking relationships and signatory access and compliance reporting;Optimize strategic cash forecasting and intra-organizational cash flow;Monitor and maintain minimum cash reserves in local currencies for all offices;Manage wire payment process and approvals;Manage treasury related compliance reporting and obligations;Develop reporting on liquidity, debt, investments, letters of credit, etc. for management;Evaluate and report on treasury-related risks: debt, investments, manage risks related to interest rates and liquidity, and advise management of known risks;Administer the global corporate credit card program that meets procurement & travel and expense needs; andManage banking services and fees, monthly reporting, and benchmarking annually.Strategy DevelopmentExpand financial risk reporting and clearly communicate risks and mitigation plans;Develop and provide monthly management reporting of treasury functions to show results and highlight areas needing strategy changes or amendments (ie financial income & expense, foreign currency gains & losses, and investments & cash reserves);Implement a global and/or regional banking plan that will support IJMs future growth; andDevelop and implement treasury technology strategies to meet the growing needs for the organization and provides flexibility for the future.Networking & PartnershipDevelop an effective framework to analyze and address internal customer needs;Work closely with Treasury and Regional teams to implement new revenue generating initiatives as needed;Develop and maintain healthy partnerships with banks, investment advisors, and FX traders; andWork with external advisors to obtain projected economic (inflation factors) and foreign exchange data for IJM to use in developing long-term plans.Foreign Exchange Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures for risk mitigation;Identify exposures, determine appropriate hedges based on policy, execute hedge strategy;Execute FX Spot trades to meet global liquidity needs;Assess foreign exchange risks in terms of budget vs. actuals and currency translations for financial statement consolidation; andStandardize and automate processes related to FX trading and reporting.Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required;CTP preferred;Minimum of two (2) years experience in treasury, banking, and/or financial analysis for a multinational business or not-for-profit organization;Analytical mindset;Microsoft Excel proficiency;Facilitation & collaboration skills;Demonstrated success in relationship management and ability to build trust with stakeholders;Written and verbal communication;Experience in investment management;Strong presentation skills;Customer-centric mindset;Ability to create a clear vision;Strong interpersonal skills and self awareness;Global mindset and cultural intelligence;Time management and prioritization skills; andAbility to adapt and problem solve.Critical Qualities:Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles Creed;Self-starter with strong initiative;Disciplined with priorities;Strong interpersonal skills and self-awareness;Exceptional verbal and written communication;Flexible, collaborative and eager to support others;Effective team player who fosters collaborative environment; andAdept at creative problem solving.What does IJM have to offer?- Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision benefits- Monthly commuter and parking benefits- Generous 6% retirement contribution- Paid leave starting at 23 days- 11 holidays (plus early release the day prior)- Relocation reimbursement- Daily, quarterly and annual community spiritual formation- Robust staff care resources
