Responsible for the accounts payable and the billing, collections and customer disputes functions. Further, this individual is responsible for being the link between the accounting function and the rest of the organization and will include leading the business analysis part of accounting results. The individual will liaison with FP&A, operations and many other functions within the Company. Essential Functions: Leads and directs the accounts payable and the billing, collections and customer disputes functions with emphasis on improving the functions and ensuring the connection with the company's operations.Supports organization financial objectives by providing financial analyses and recommendations and directing staff.Develops accounting organizational strategies by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations for strategic thinking and direction, and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.Establishes accounting operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies, designing systems, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change.Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information, and advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.6. Analyzes revenue and spend variance vs. budget, forecast and prior quarters.7. Partners closely with other senior leaders in the organization including but not limited to the tax, FP&A, the internal and external legal teams, the heads of the business operations and the HR team.8. Develops and presents financial and operational analyses for top management, Audit Committee, the BOD and other financial information as appropriate.9. Reviewing and assisting in preparing monthly Operating Reports, following up with business during the monthly close process.10. Selects, develops and evaluates staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
