Our client, a dynamic non-profit located in the Arlington, VA area, is seeking a staff accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity due to some growth in the organization. The ideal candidate will have one or more years' of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting, advanced Excel skills, and will be available to start immediately.Primary Responsibilities GL maintenance and account reconcilation Assist with audit activities Full cycle responsibility of both AP and AR Assist with ad hoc reporting and budget preparation Qualifications 1+ years' experience in a GL accounting role (preferably in a non-profit) BS in Accounting or other business related field Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail Available to start immediately
