The successful candidate will apply Systems Engineering discipline in the development of operating procedures, standardization of practices, and training regimens that are required to support the Navy's newest Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft, the P-8A Poseidon. This position will support Fleet Naval Aviation operations in large, "glass cockpit" aircraft, and experience in these areas are required. Particular focus will be placed on developing and maturing electronic flight manuals, navigation publications and flight planning products for integration in Electronic Flight Bag. Responsibilities include providing insight for the Systems Engineering of a Naval Aviation platform from the aviator perspective, guiding process development efforts and enhancing the operational capability of the weapons platform. The candidate will provide interaction with external agencies (including OEM, engineering activities, test pilots, Fleet Introduction representatives, deployed squadrons and Program Manager). Preferred Qualifications Fleet Operational Naval Aviator experience is preferred. 737 pilot experiences (Next Generation) preferred. Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance experience preferred.
