Enrollment representative works with internal teams, providers, CAQH, and Commercial Credentialing Departments to assist in completing the enrollment process for medical providers. Responsible for preparing and submitting credentialing applications and supporting documentation to enroll physician and group.Responsibilities Compiles documents, researches and acts as liaison between the enrollment entity and providers obtaining updates on the status of applications and reporting progress Updates status of enrollment applications in database so other teams can access information Completes enrollment applications for the Providers and make them available for the physicians for review, revision and approval prior to submission to the Agency. Communicates with commercial payers regarding specific credentialing/enrolling questions and updates profiles accordingly Assists with Medicare and Medicaid enrollments, as needed Effectively manages large amounts of information and documentation Maintains strict confidentiality of all physician files Other projects as assigned by management RequirementsMinimum Qualifications Three years of work experience in Enrollment or related field is required Experience in working with Commercial payers to credential and enroll medical providers Experience in a fast paced team environment that requires decision-making and problem solving Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and web based applications Professional level written and oral communication skills Proven time management and prioritization skills focusing on urgent and overlapping deadlines Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and proven accuracy with record keeping Ability to work independently CPCS certification preferred EducationAssociate degree or higher preferredBenefitsAs part of its total compensation strategy, SOC Telemed provides its employees with a comprehensive benefits package.
