Our client, located in the Northern Virginia area, is looking for a contract to hire payroll specialist to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' payroll experience, full cycle processing for over 500 employees.Primary Responsibilities Process payroll for over 500 employees utilizing Costpoint/ADP Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll Maintain and document payroll records Utilize Costpoint T&E Conduct semi-annual audits of all payroll records Reconcile general ledger with regard to payroll transactions Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns Qualifications BS Degree in accounting would be a plus Minimum 3 years' payroll experience Experience in Costpoint and ADP Intermediate Excel skills Good communication skills - written and verbal
