Come join our thriving team! We are looking for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners who are eager to provide assessment and treatments services via telemedicine who are licensed to practice in Maryland. We are proud members of Privia Medical Group, our region's largest Accountable Care Organization. This affiliation provides abundant referrals and shared medical records for continuity of care. Our most common referrals are for Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD, but we do serve some patients recovering from Bipolar Disorder and Substance Abuse and we have found that PMHNP's who have versatility regarding ages and diagnoses served provide the best value to our clientele. The desire and ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team is paramount. Our intake appointments are 45-60 minutes long and follow up medication checks are 15-25 minutes. You will have the support of a Medical Assistant for scheduling and prescription refills. There is no on-call schedule per se, but every once in awhile you may need to support a patient in distress outside of normal business hours. Our target productivity goal would be 30+ patient hours per week, but we are open to exceptional part-time candidates as well. Given that this is a remote position, we are seeking a professional who is self-motivated and capable of working fairly independently. You will have access to individual and group case consultation as needed. Being timely with documentation and response to phone calls and emails is really important to us for good customer service. If you are grouchy and disorganized, we will not be a good match :) Requirements Education and Experience State of Maryland Nurse Practitioner License as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited nurse practitioner training program Registered with the State of Maryland (CDS) and DEA for unrestricted prescription writing privileges Experienced in providing Telepsych is a plus. Must be able to become credentialed with Medicare and other commercial payors. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Minimum of 2 years psychiatric experience as a PMHNP in an outpatient practice setting Previous experience assessing and providing medication management for patients with behavioral health disorders in a psychiatric or primary care setting Experience with children, adolescents, and adults necessary Expert clinical judgment and the ability to be self-directed and demonstrate initiative in an expanded role Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving and conflict resolution Effective oral and written communication with staff, patients and community providers Benefits Full Patient Scheduling & Management: Our administrative team takes responsibility for patient scheduling, patient management, billing collection, and all other administration work. e-Prescriptions and EHR Training and Support Comprehensive benefits include group medical insurance plan contribution, 4% 401K match, $1000 annual CME stipend, 3 weeks paid time off, 4-6 paid holidays, and optional vision, dental, life, accident, and disability insurance.
