Manifest is looking to hire a dynamic analytics pro to lead the Data Intelligence practice for one of our largest and fastest growing accounts - a Fortune 200 company, for whom we run a multi-million-dollar, multi-channel, broad and complex content marketing program. You will be a critical, client-facing voice and one of the leading figures on the account, working closely with the head of account services, the creative director, and a data intelligence direct report. You'll oversee the application of analytics and drive performance analysis. You will raise the level of our weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports, build and maintain a variety of marketing dashboards, leverage insight to guide paid and organic campaigns, and use performance data to inspire new content ideas. You will play an active role in continuing to evolve the account to a more data-driven strategy and take ownership in the success of the program overall. This role can be based in Chicago, DC or NYC.This position is for you if you're a curious, analytical person, fascinated by marketing and consumer behavior, with a compulsion to understand why. You're comfortable in a crowd: presenting to high profile clients, advocating with other internal stakeholders for your ideas, and displaying the tenacity to make incremental improvements everywhere you look.Responsibilities* Lead analytics and performance analysis on the agency's biggest account primarily, but potentially others as well - there is the opportunity to expand your expertise to other accounts as you grow.* Lead, guide, and inspire your direct report.* Learn, teach, and get the most out of the agency's new BI stack (Funnel, Snowflake, and Sigma), in which we've just built out dashboards.* Responsible for all weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, participating in content planning, guiding marketing campaigns, and expanding the vision of what performance insights can do for the client.* Monitor and analyze data from multiple sources, including performance analytics, keyword research/trends, industry trends, social listening, email/CRM metrics, and competitive research metrics.* Observe, report and make recommendations on trends in client industries for content and marketing strategy optimization.* Partner with client teams to develop and execute strategies and tactics to optimize campaigns based on research and analysis of performance metrics.* Build dashboards for clients, train clients and internal teams to use them, and feed insights to creative teams to inspire new ideas.* Design and execute custom attribution strategies and models for content marketing, Ecommerce, B2B and lead generation programs.Requirements5+ years of analytics experience, with at least 5 in a marketing discipline.Proficiency in using query languages, such as SQL and RegEx, required.Expertise in Excel required.Expertise in Web Analytics platforms required (eg , Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Ominiture, WebTrends, IBM Coremetrics, Unica, IBM Digital Analytics).Intimate knowledge of ad platforms to extract data ie Facebook, Twitter, Google Ads, etc.Experience and proficiency with ETL tools for structuring data in a relational database so that it can be accurately queried by a data visualization tool. Bonus points for experience using an ETL with performance marketing data and/or Funnel.io.Proficiency in analytics tag auditing or web developer QA/testing tools preferred, such as Charles, Fiddler, WASP, ObservePoint.Experience with tag management solutions, such as Tealium, Google Tag Manager, Ensighten.Experience with A/B testing tools preferred, such as Adobe, Google, and Optimizely.Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau required, with bonus points for experience with Sigma.Good applied statistical skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, and regression, preferred.Flexible, adaptable, easy to work with, and able to balance a variety of different projects.Eager, ambitious, and highly curious.Great communication skills, both written and verbal, and good with clients.What We DoManifest is a proudly independent content marketing agency, with honors that include Content Marketing Agency of the Year, and one of the Best and Brightest Companies to work for in the nation.
