The Director of Account Management is responsible for managing existing client relationships and managing new business proposals for Red Carrot Communications. This position will leverage strong marketing experience to provide strategic insights that feed winning new business proposals. This position will also oversee content strategy and provides direction and feedback on creative. The right candidate for this job be a self-starter that demonstrates the ability to work under general direction, multitask and work independently.This position has the additional role to mentor more junior team members. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to develop their skills as well as your own.This position is 100% Remote.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Developing long-term strategy, building internal capacity to respond to opportunities and lead capture and proposal efforts to expand Red Carrot's marketing client base and project portfolio. Provide marketing subject matter expertise for effective responses to Request for Proposal responses and lead proposal efforts and takes overall responsibility for managing the proposal process.Grows existing accounts by developing and pitching new business opportunities.Writing business and technical proposals focused on translating findings from research into compelling materials.Editing proposals and executes color team reviews of proposals.Analyze short and medium-term goals and determine team objectives and identify the necessary critical tasks to achieve these objectives.Identifies and executes opportunities for brand positioning, valuation/analytics, internal brand engagement and digital brand strategy.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business or related fieldAdvertising agency or consulting experienceMinimum 10 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or communicationsDigital native, who is comfortable building integrated campaigns and utilizing content strategy and playing to different channel strengths to increase audience impactAnalytics experience - knowledge of correct metrics to use, quantitative analysis of marketing efforts and results, and how to utilize metrics to improve campaigns Employee may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive informationProficient in Office 365Google Analytics and/or other analytics software experienceWell organized with a keen eye for detailExperience in a federal contracting environmentStrong project management skillsStrong leadership qualitiesDeadline and detail-orientedEmployee Benefits:Top-tier medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage401(k) plan with company matching and profit-sharingPaid-time-off and Federal HolidaysRed Carrot is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
