Job Details

The Summer Temp Technician provides division-wide support to the Student Helpdesk team to clean, fix and test Chromebooks and chargers. Chromebook cart maintenance will also be required.

Essential Functions

  • To assist with simple problem-solving.
  • Recognize and document hardware and/or software malfunctions.
  • Site visits to assigned ACPS school sites (requires valid driver's license). You might travel to multiple sites a day.
  • Ability to schedule activities; gather and/or collate data; and use basic, job-related equipment and lift job-related equipment up to 50lbs.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Chrome OS devices (e.g. able to power up and down and take verbal directions).
  • Must be able to listen to and interpret instructions with minimal supervision.

Clearances:
  • Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
  • Tuberculosis Skin Test.
