ResponsibilitiesOversee Agile development process for development of facilities management software solution. Oversee Agile development process for development of facilities management software solution Facilitate all Scrum Events and ensure participants understand the purpose of each event Ensure all Scrum Artifacts are transparent and make sure the most appropriate practices are applied in the absence of complete transparency Remove impediments to the development team's progress Manage project schedule to ensure milestones are achieved Manage and groom backlog of user stories and ensure acceptance criteria are met Identify and proactively communicate risks, issues, and proposed mitigation strategies Coordinate across a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, IT staff, to accomplish project objectives Liaise directly with the client to provide guidance, advice, and recommendations Utilize Jira or other Agile SW development tools to facilitate progress and organize work Maintain project organization and consistent, clear communication in a fast-paced environment QualificationsA Bachelor's degree is required for this position to be considered Secret clearance Experience overseeing the Agile process for large scale software development projects Experience managing the Agile process in federal government setting Experience engaging with high level government officials, and coordianting multiple stakeholder equities Experience with facilities and asset management software such as Archibus a plus Experience with delivering technology solutions according to the principles that underpin the SAFe(R) for Lean Enterprises' framework Preferred: Certified Scrum Master Clearance: Active Secret Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
