Director of SalesAs a Director of Sales, you will lead and manage all day-to-day activities with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of property sales objectives. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives.Responsibilities Include: Providing positive and aggressive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential Working with the Sales management team in developing and executing sales strategies Reaching, and exceeding, department booking goals Initiate and participate client calls to acquire new business and/or close on business Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service Displaying leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifying customer service and creating a positive example for guest relations Conducts property tours, as well as outside sales, calls to create trusting relationships with clients Communicates with all departments to ensure guest needs are fully metRequirements Must be knowledgeable of the DC community with pre-established relationships 4-6 years experience in a similar role Director experience is required Ability to work events and be hands-on Strong organization skills, the ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail
