Asset Management Analyst
The Asset Management Analyst plays a key role in providing analytical support to a team of Asset Managers as they monitor the performance of a multifamily real estate loan portfolio, which includes providing excellent customer service to clients.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs financial statement and operating statement analysis
- Performs detailed loan set-up for new loan including identifying special loan items and recording information into Real Insight. Prepare and send Asset Management Welcome Letter to Borrowers.
- Provides analytical support to a team of Asset Managers
- Manages all Freddie mailboxes ensuring timely response to Master Servicers and Freddie Mac
- Prepares and sends notification email to borrowers of upcoming due dates for repairs and deferred maintenance. Communicates with Borrowers on repairs status and assist Asset Managers in completing extension/modification request, if needed.
- Handles securitization loan file abstracts and recording into tracker/Real Insight
- Prepares and sends casualty loss letter to Borrower upon notification of loss and ensures all investor documentation requirements are met.
- Assists Team Leaders in compiling information for investor audits
- Handles special projects as assigned by Team Leader
Critical Skills:
- Highly developed analytical skills including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and mine data
- Outstanding writing skills and oral presentation ability
- Proficiency in analyzing property operating statements, rent rolls, and borrower financial statements and in modeling complex financial scenarios
- High integrity, the ability to communicate articulately and concisely, strong interpersonal and partnership skills, achievement drive, and intellectual curiosity
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience]
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
