What You'll Do: As a Corporate Counsel, you will provide legal advice and counsel in support of OneWeb's global supply-chain transactions. Utilizing your expertise, you will be responsible for negotiating commercial transactions with vendors focusing on telecommunication and SaaS transactions. Partnering with our Delivery & Operations and Technology teams, you will help manage our vendor base and ensure high quality customer service both internally and externally. Draft and negotiate global procurement contracts with a focus on telecommunication (ie, colocation and related telco services) and SaaS agreements Advise and counsel management and other internal clients on commercial issues, legal compliance matters, contract interpretation, dispute resolution, and key risks Provide legal support with respect to various international business development projects, contracts management and global compliance Work effectively as a team member in the Legal Department Handle day-to-day legal issues arising in a growing and complex business & any other legal support as deemed necessary by the senior leadership within the legal team What It Takes: LLB or JD from a qualified/accredited law school 5+ years of relevant experience Expertise in negotiations Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn and adapt to the complex and fast-paced nature of OneWeb's business Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, including self-motivation, a non-hierarchical attitude, collegiality and a cooperative spirit Strong legal and communications skills required Sound analytical, writing, and organizational abilities Ability to work in a widely dispersed cross-functional team environment, manage certain assignments without close supervision, manage external counsel and consultant relationships and collaborate with internal clients Ability to interact effectively with people of various cultural backgrounds Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software suite (MS Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook) What We'd Love: Transactional work experience in a high-tech company Where You'll Be: McLean, Virginia.
