Overview: The litigation function is responsible for vigorously, affirmatively, and ethically asserting and defending ESAB's legal rights and reputation by managing litigation risk and resolving significant disputes. The function is also charged with proactively preventing, identifying and mitigating legal, regulatory, and reputational risk. The Litigation Counsel reports to and will work closely with ESAB's General Counsel, Curtis Jewell, and will collaborate with attorneys and business people at all levels of the organization. This role will involve a combination of managing/overseeing various outside litigation counsel; being an adviser/counselor to the business and other members of the legal team; and improving internal litigation processes and procedures.
