Summary The Project Accountant will work on a small team and have sole charge of tracking the financial activities for the firm's construction projects, being in an integral memeber of a close-knit team! Client Details Growing GC located in the DC Metro area specializing in Government Projects Description Submit payment applications for the firm's government construction projects Maintain and update compliance paperwork in accordance to quarterly reporting Track vendor payments and ensure all payments are within specific vendor timelines Calculate total costs of work and matching field tickets to invoices Communicate and ensure that materials, equiipment are delivered to field crews, tracking costs Maintain an organized workflow of project setup to completion according job costing Profile Strong excel skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Sound knowledge of construction accounting Strong organization skills and high level of numerical accuracy Job Offer Opportunity to work for a multi-award winning GC who values its employees offering comprehensive benefits and flexibilty Dynamic Culture and Family feel environment Job Requirements: 4+ years in Construction Accounting
