Overview: The Navellier franchise, the longest running franchise at InvestorPlace, is currently looking for an Editorial Assistant. The franchise has grown significantly in recent years, in both subscribers (we have over 80,000!) and newsletter products, and now were looking to expand our editorial team, too.We are looking for someone who loves to write, edit, research, and is happy to act as support for the editorial team. Also, someone comfortable with spreadsheets, math basics, and data entry. This is a very numbers-driven franchise, so comfort with Excel and Google spreadsheets is a must, as we use these tools daily to track performance.An average week typically includes nine pieces of fulfillment. We publish five different paid newsletters and four free articles. In addition, we write, edit, and publish special reports, build and send e-mails to our subscribers, post to social media, and keep track of our stocks using Excel and Google spreadsheets. We also work hand-in-hand with our marketing department to ensure that campaign editorial fulfillment promises are met. You will play an integral role in all of these areas.While preferred, you do not need a background in the financial markets. We will happily teach you the ins and outs of the financial markets, so long as youre willing to learn. Responsibilities: Provide copyedits in a timely manner for copy ranging from 500 words to 5,000 wordsWrite at least one article per week and assist with social media posts via Twitter and FacebookRespond to inquiries from our Member Services teamPost content to our paid and free sites with WordPressSend content to subscribers with Exact TargetRegularly update track records using Excel and Google spreadsheetsUse basic HTML to build/edit e-mail templatesResearch trends and topics for both paid and free fulfillmentProvide additional support for the Managing Editors and Senior Managing Editor.
