Overview: BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a mission-focused project incloving rapid prototype development and working with big data.This position will support PCI, a BigBear.ai company. What you will do: The Systems Engineer will support government technical leadership, researching new approaches to solving difficult problems, developing analyses of alternative approaches, system architecture frameworks, and other over-arching engineering issues that would impact the organization.This support includes the following activities:Help manage JIRA service deskCapture and manage system requirementsSupport system accredidation milestonesAuthor system security artifacts:Configuration Management PlanSSPISCPSystem Boundary DiagramsFacilitate process improvementsConduct configuration management activities:JIRA- support sprintsSharePoint document change control, knowledge baseParticipate in co-development planning and execution with capabilitiesAttend ERBs (future plan, implementing soon)Have knowledge of end-to-end system operabilityConduct audit system capability assessmentsProvide Confluence supportManage document repositoryProvide systems engineering expertise during system development stage and throughout system life cycleDevelop best practices to enhance mission operationsImplement continuous improvement measures to enhance organizational workflowsProvide research and insight into the organization's metrics and performancePrepare ICDs and other system diagramsCreate processes to mitigate mission risksMaintain organizational web presence contentYou will become familiar with multiple efforts that provide refinement and better information on data being enhance with analytic techniques such as AWS, and you will be part of the team that is developing the standard for future teams, from the platforms utilized to the architecture framework used to develop the software What you need to have: Clearance: must possess and maintain a TS clearance with polygraphAt least eighteen (18) years of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, engineering, mathematics, or related disciplineAt least ten (10) years of experience in engineering and program processes (CM, QA, risk management, reporting) software development methodologies, planning, designing, and analyzing processing and storage retrieval systems on a mid- to large-scale (eg, ONEROOF - PINWALE, integration programs).A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering may be substituted for four (4) years of general experience.
