Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is looking for a Principal Digital Signal Processing Software Engineer in Aurora, Colorado or Dulles, Virginia. Life with Raytheon Intelligence and Space In this role, you will work with an amazing team of engineers that is leading the industry in space-enabled information, Command, and Control systems solutions. This position can be located in Aurora, Colorado or Dulles, Virginia. Relocation assistance is authorized for this position. What You'll Get to Do: As a Principal Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Software Engineer , you will support a classified signal-processing program and will engage multiple organizations, internal and external to Raytheon, to develop and implement solutions. You will be part of a small multi-disciplined, highly-focus team working to develop and maintain signal-processing applications for use in a real-time operational environment. The team contribution is across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and test, and metrics. Principal Signal Processing Software Engineer additional key responsibilities: A Perform signal processing SME role on signal processing programs to ensure architectures satisfy all requirements Design, develop and implement software solutions for existing signal processing system Ability to help with timing and geolocation analysis and algorithms Perform Signal analysis to support debugging algorithms or creating new algorithms Ability to develop strong relationships with Customers Provide technical support across IIS signal processing programs Guide and preform development and implementation of the design of advanced new products Ability to work across services and support Agile practices Ability to develop new solutions into the DevSecOps pipeline and ability to take legacy architecture and help bring into DevSecOps Support new business pursuits, and prepare proposals and BOEs Acts independently and pro-actively seeks to uncover and resolve issues You'll Bring These Qualifications: Must be a US citizen with an existing Top Secret SCI clearance with current SSBI within last 5 years Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or other relevant technical discipline. experience in fields of signal processing, software engineering, and/or architecture of real-time signal processing systems Algorithm, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics background Experience with Software process lifecycle (including Concept of operations, requirements, system design/architecting, development, testing, delivery, and system maintenance) Experience with simulation / modeling of signal processing algorithms using MATLAB or similar tools Software programming skills in c/c++, (Java and Python strongly desired) Experience with Linux scripting languages (bash, tch, csh, perl, sh) Candidate must exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness, integrity, and teaming skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, and customers in a team environment Ability to work in a small team environment, high paced, with flexibility in job role 8 years of relevant experience in fields of signal processing, software engineering, and/or architecture of real-time signal processing systems It Would Be Great if You Also Had: Simulation / modeling of signal processing algorithms using MATLAB or similar tools Python Git, Bitbucket or related SWCM tools Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence) Work with RF sensors Software architectures, frameworks (including containerization) Netbeans or Eclipse IDEs Intel Compiler (C, C++, Fortran, MKL) Experience with Geolocation Digital Signal Processing (FFT, tuning, modulation/demodulation) Software architectures, frameworks, infrastructure experiences Software patterns Experience with DevSecOps including Jenkins, Rancher, Kubernetes Experience with CentOS and Linux OS What We can Offer You: A company that is committed to fostering mentorship and career development for their team members Ability to work with professionals around the country who thrive in a culture that celebrates the contributions of its employees.
