JOB SUMMARY Provides direct oversight and leadership for the Clinical Educators within the scope of their duties and responsibilities within the company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Responsible for the direct supervision of Clinical Educators. Involved in the hiring process as a panel member Maintains a knowledge base of current standards of care and standards of practice to ensure compliance through the education process Provides an interface between departments to ensure consistency in information to crews Communicates through the education process the delineation of duties as defined through the Nursing and Paramedic Scope of Practice. Assures class schedules are complete and adequate instructor coverage is available Delegates assignments and holds employees accountable for work completion Provides follow up on new employee orientation Prepares annual Employee evaluations Reviews monthly CQI Reports and refers those with deficiencies to appropriate person Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Experience: 1. Minimum of five years ED or ICU nursing experience or active ALS experience 2. Minimum three years management/leadership experience preferred 3. Minimum of 3 years flight experience Education: Current RN Licensure or EMT-P Certification Skills: Credentials/Licenses: 1. Instructor rating in ACLS 2. Instructor rating in PALS 3. Instructor rating in PHTLS 4. Instructor rating in NRP (if applicable) 5. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and employeesMathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
