Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Business Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston, South Carolina location. As a member of the team, the successful candidate will provide business analysis and support services to include the following:

Responsibilities
  • Understand customers' business processes and practices and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specifically assigned areas.
  • Perform analysis of business and operational processes for a specific department. Document and communicate results to client management and other global locations.
  • Conduct business process reengineering and employ Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify opportunities for streamlining, standardization, and increased productivity and accuracy.
  • Responsible for collecting user requirements, assessing operational/business impacts, and supporting a range of implementation efforts for the Department's overseas financial management and logistics management systems. Responsible for communicating status, concerns and issues to client management and staff. Responsible for working with department staff to ensure functional understanding of system changes and testing.
  • Communicate effectively with global personnel to resolve complex problems related to the financial management systems. Provide technical guidance on the many systems used by staff and global clients.
  • Provide project management support to client management, including planning and leading projects, documenting business requirements, assessing risks, ensuring deadlines are met, and communicating project milestones and results

Required Qualifications
  • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Finance or a related field and at least 6 years of related work experience
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical, communication and organizationsal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of an organization's operations, typically undertaking studies that cross all the organization's operations
  • Expertise in presenting business process solutions in an easy to understand manner for the client in both verbal and written form
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and responsibilities while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Self-starter with initiative to identify problem areas and recommend solutions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Expertise with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)

Desired Qualifications
• Experience with CGI Federal Momentum application
• Experience with ISO-9001 Quality Management System
• Lean Six Sigma certification
• PMP certification

Clearance
